Historians have long acknowledged that Jesus and Mohammed have affected mankind to a greater degree than any other persons in all of time. Muslims maintain that Mohammed is the greatest man who has ever lived, certainly greater than Christ. But do his life and his teachings back up such a claim?

Islamic apologists are waging a huge public relations campaign in the Western media to present Islam as the religion which “liberates” and protects women. But what is the true story?

This presentation takes the claims of one of the most outspoken Islamic proponents of a women-liberating Muslim theology and refutes each of her claims using the verses of the Qur’an. It reveals what the Qur’an actually teaches concerning the subservient role and second class status of women. It points out the direct contradictions between the pro-women face Islam tries to present to the West and what is actually practiced within Islam. In this presentation we also look at the tragic results of Islam upon women in Islamic countries.

This presentation explores the striking contrasts between Christianity and Islam in regard to the position of women in society, and in the relationship between husband and wife. We learn that Islam teaches that men are “in charge” of women, women are second-class citizens and women are dirtier (more defiling) than common dirt.  Moreover, the Qur’an promotes polygamy, forced marriages of children, beating of wives, the restriction of education for women, and prostitution (marriage for fun). Islam does not offer much hope for women in eternity either. Mohammed himself taught that no more than one out of a hundred women will enter paradise.
