We welcome you to meet the Dakdok family.

Usama and Vicki
Usama was born in Egypt and grew up in a Christian home. While in government schools in Egypt, he learned about Islam just as every other student does in a Muslim country. Usama also studied for a university degree in Egypt which included the study of Sharia, Islamic law. He first came to America in 1992. With all of his knowledge about Islam, he felt he could reach out to Muslim people in America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Thus he began The Straight Way of Grace Ministry.

For over a decade, Usama has traveled across the country with one burning, passionate desire—“Revealing the Truth about Islam.” His focus is twofold: to equip the church to minister to Muslims and to warn all Americans about the deceptive methods being used by Muslims that lead so many into the cult of Islam.

Usama earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and a Master’s Degree in Missiology from New Orleans Theological Seminary. He is the author of several important works. Because Arabic is his native language, he discovered that the commonly used English translations of the Qur’an were full of misrepresentations that minimized its violent teachings as written in the Arabic text. Therefore, his first project, The Generous Qur’an, is an accurate English translation with study notes and material to help Christians share the Gospel with Muslims. Second, Exposing the Truth about the Qur’an, The Revelation of Error, The Stories of the Prophets is a two volume expose’ of the Qur’an and Muslim scholars. Third, Exposing the The Truth about Jihad, Holy War in the Bible, Volume One is part one of a two-volume series in which Usama Dakdok provides both an important overview and an insightful examination of the details surrounding death and killing in both the Bible (Volume One) and the Qur’an (Volume Two). The reader will see the pattern of justified killing in the Bible (judgment due to sin) versus the arbitrary and unjustified murders carried out in Islam as commanded by Allah.

Vicki was born in Illinois, and she accepted the Lord as her Savior at the age of 13. Vicki joined the Christian drama ministry, The Covenant Players. While serving with them in Europe, she met and worked with Usama who  was also a member of the same ministry.

Usama and Vicki were married in 1991, returned from Europe in 1992, and made their home in Florida in 1993. They were blessed in 1997 with a son, Caleb. Caleb is now living on his own in Florida. Usama and Vicki relocated to Missouri in 2018. This move made the  ministry more centrally locacted for Usama's speaking schedule as he continues speak throughout the United States.
